LHC Dismisses Plea Seeking Punjab CM’s
LHC dismisses plea seeking Punjab CM’s disqualification
The Lahore High Court dismissed Pakistani Tehreek-i-Insaf chairman of Pakistan's Imran Khan Pakistan who is seeking the disappearance of Pakistan after Senator Shahbaz Sharif declared he can not keep up.
Baron Awan, a lawyer who appeared on behalf of the PTI chairperson, failed to provide satisfactory answers to court questions about the possibility of maintaining the petition.
Judge Shahid Karim questioned the authenticity of the report submitted by the JIT (Joint Investigation Team) in a Panama document case in which the petitioner relied, confirming that it was not approved by the court.
The judge confirmed that another bench in the High Court had already dismissed the same petition filed on the basis of a decision in the Sharif family's sugar factory.
Court claims that Babar Awan could not find a satisfactory answer and was unable to maintain
The lawyer asserted in front of the court that JIT's report revealed all the facts that the respondent (Shahbaz Sharif) hid in his nomination papers for the general election. He also said the report proved the abuse of authority to protect the sugar factory of the respondent's family.
With a short order, Karim rejected the petition as non-regular.
According to PTI's petition, Sharif abused his power and allowed his relatives to establish a new sugar factory.
In its earlier judgment, the petition confirms that the LHC has established a policy for the government to benefit certain sugar mills. The petitioner added that the respondent was disqualified as a member of the House of Commons and a member of the provincial council on the basis of this declaration.
Khan sought the dismissal of the chief minister based on a ruling on the Panama case by the Supreme Court and a follow up report submitted by the JIT.
China Losing Patience With India, Diplomats
China losing patience with India, diplomats in Beijing told
China told diplomats that the PLA's army is patiently waiting at the Dokkram Plateau for confrontation with Indian units but will not wait indefinitely.
Quoting an unnamed P5 official in the briefing, said the newspaper was concerned by Beijing's diplomatic community and some people said the message was forwarded to officials in Beijing and Bhutanese in New Delhi.
Last month, the Indian army blocked the China Highway Corporation from Dokkram and later confronted the PLA unit. Beijing has argued that New Delhi should step down.
Sources said the Chinese authorities had forwarded their case to diplomats stationed in Beijing at a briefing last week at Indian Express. Some G-20 countries were briefed by the Chinese government, Express said.
Although China and Bhutan reported a disputed diplomatic community, Indian soldiers
"Our colleagues in Beijing have been impressed by the attendance of the briefing and the Chinese side will not wait indefinitely, which is very worrying, and we are delighted to be able to meet with the Delhi Express, a diplomat from the P5 (United Nations Security Council) To his colleagues in Beijing and Bhutan and his colleagues in India.
The diplomatic community in Beijing said there was a dispute between China and Bhutan and that Indian soldiers "jumped".
A spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, "The Chinese told their colleagues in Beijing that the Indian side has broken into the Chinese territory and changed the way it is maintained.
This is contrary to what India says, the newspaper said. In a June 30 statement, New Delhi said it "expressed deep concern" on "recent Chinese behavior," he said to the Chinese government, "indicating a significant change in the current situation that has serious security implications for India."
China told diplomats in Beijing that there is strong evidence to show that Dokklim belongs to China. They say that Dokklim was always "a traditional pasture for Chinese border people" and that their records still have "some receipts of grass taxes paid by Bhutanese shepherds".
They argued that the Indian army should immediately withdraw the Indian side of the border unconditionally. This is a prerequisite for meaningful dialogue between China and India.
Meanwhile, in a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China, the government demanded that India not use "intrusions" as a policy tool for accepting political prisoners in the Dokkram region.
The foreign minister quoted at the Express also urged India to immediately withdraw troops to avoid any kind of staged attack on India.
The ministry said it was in close communication with the Beijing diplomatic mission when asked whether Beijing had conducted a closed-door briefing with Chinese diplomats. Express said.
Bush administration spokesman Lu Kang said many diplomats in China had been shocked by the illegal invasion by Indian borders and wanted to see if it was true.
"China maintains close dialogue with diplomatic missions about issues of interest," a spokesman told reporters in Beijing.
